I’m really sad about my best friend leaving. I can’t get over how stupid she’s being.
Of COURSE I want her to be happy. I really do… But leaving acrossed country to be with some guy she dated for 6 months 19 years ago, whom she hasn’t seen since. A guy who is recently divorced, and she is his first “real” (if over the internet counts) relationship after?
Really??? Seriously??? Is this MY friend we’re talking about? I don’t want her to go. I want her to be happy, but I don’t want her to go. I would understand if they had been talking for a year (or two) and she had been back to visit him, and he’d been back to visit her like 4 or 5 times. I still wouldn’t agree with it, but I’d understand it more.
Her whole I’d never move out of cali is a bunch of crap. I don’t get it. At all. I was in love with *JO* but when he said he was thinking about going to Colorado, I said I wasn’t going to move. I was willing to move to Southern California though.
I’m trying to be happy… Really I am. I was asking myself if I was being selfish. But I don’t think I am. I think he is, by moving her acrossed country away from her family in her condition to be with only him?
Total crap. I’m upset. It hasn’t even really hit me that she’s going. Why do all my friends leave? First *EB* in high school moves to Colorado. Then *LR* from high school moves to Texas via San Diego. Now *JT* is going to IL. *Golly* if you leave I’ll kill you. Got it?
